From 6 to 7 PM, we will gather at Grandover for some live music, an art display, Hors d’oeuvres and wine. This will be a time to brag about your cars and meet and mingle with other participants, judges and officials. Price $20 per person.
Registration is from 8:00 - 10:00 AM for Concours entrants and also for sport & classic car club participants. General public and spectators can enter at 10:00 AM and the viewing of cars will be until 2:30. Enjoy food, art & local wineries on the fields of Grandover Resort and at 4:00 PM, Concours Judges will begin awarding the Concours and sport & classic car winners.
The Triangle chapter of the AACA will bring an Assembled Model T Ford to the Concours show field then take it apart. The team will then do an assembly demonstration of an approx. 6-8 member team that will put the "T" together and drive it away, all in 8-10 minutes. Demonstrations will be at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
* Each club and car marque that pre-registers will be given a select location along with a 10 x 10 tent to display and promote their group. In addition to an award for each club and car marque, there will be a participation award. Here's your chance to shine! Bring and display your best, club items, clothing, books and even model cars. Promote your club and marque too! This offer is being made to any club with a minimum of 10 cars and must be submitted to us by September 15. And finally, any of you that wish to be the captain of your group to help us organize and get your cars and members out, will be granted a free weekend pass. Entry included with paid registration.
Saturday Night Gala
The beautiful architecture of Grandover Resort will be the backdrop for this elegant evening with local musicians, reception, social time beginning at 5:30 PM, auction at 6:30, dinner at 7 PM, introduction of sponsors and guest speaker at 8:00 PM. Music and dancing from 9 to 10 PM. Price $50 per person
